DILLI PROTEST RUN / SITE INFORMATION
Frequently Asked Questions
Last updated: 15 October 2026
What is Dilli Protest Run?
It is a free, Delhi-inspired 3D arcade runner. Choose a cartoon avatar, a street location, an issue and a pursuer, then dodge obstacles along a three-lane route. The setting, slogans and endings are fictional satire.
How do I start and win a run?
Choose “Let's make some noise” on the homepage, then select your avatar, location, issue and pursuer. Start the run and play through the introduction or skip it. Reach 1,000 metres to finish, earn 100 bonus chai tokens and reveal a fictional victory meme. Avoid obstacles and collect tokens to keep the chase going.
What are the keyboard and mobile controls?
- Move left or right: Left/Right arrow keys or A/D.
- Jump: Up arrow, W or Space.
- Slide: Down arrow or S.
- Pause: P or Escape, or the pause button.
- On a touchscreen: swipe left/right/up/down or use the on-screen arrow buttons.
What can I do with chai tokens?
Tokens collected during play contribute to your saved balance and let you unlock additional locations. Completing a run adds a 100-token bonus. Tokens, fictional vouchers and memes are game rewards only: they cannot be redeemed for cash and do not cause any real-world release or other action.
Do I need to pay, download an app or make an account?
No. You can play in a compatible browser without installing an app or creating an account. You need an internet connection to load the website. Once loaded, a run can continue after a connection loss, but live counts and advertising need a network connection.
Why does Chrome say WebGL is unavailable?
The 3D game needs WebGL 2. On desktop Chrome, open Settings → System, turn on “Use graphics acceleration when available”, and relaunch Chrome. Update your browser and graphics drivers if needed. On mobile, open the site directly in Chrome or Safari. A browser or device policy can also disable graphics support.
Try low graphics to reduce rendering load. This cannot enable WebGL on a device where it is unavailable or disabled. These information pages remain readable without WebGL or JavaScript.
How can I improve performance or change the sound?
Open Settings from the menu to change graphics quality, sound and reduced motion. Try low graphics, close resource-heavy tabs, and use an updated browser. The sound button in the top bar toggles audio.
Where is my progress saved, and can I reset it?
Your best score, token balance, unlocks and settings are saved in this browser. They do not sync between devices or browser profiles. Clearing site data or using a private session can remove your save. Use Settings → Reset local progress to reset game progress; this cannot be undone.
What does “playing now” mean?
When available, the counter estimates distinct browsers actively playing in visible tabs, based on updates within the last 45 seconds. Paused runs, menus and hidden tabs are excluded. Multiple tabs normally count once per browser profile. It is an approximate count, not a verified count of individual people. A closed or disconnected session may take up to 45 seconds to disappear.
“Live count unavailable” means the counting service cannot currently be reached; it does not mean zero people are playing. Your game can still run.
Are the characters and events real?
The game's portrayals and events are fictional or satirical, and are not statements of fact. No affiliation or endorsement is implied. Read the Terms & Conditions for more information.
Do I need to click ads to play?
No. Advertising is separate from gameplay and never required to earn tokens or unlock content. Do not click ads to support the game or generate artificial views. See the Privacy Policy for advertising data and choice information.
