Game progress

Dilli Protest Run stores your best score, chai token balance, unlocked locations, game choices and settings in this browser using local storage. The game has no player accounts and does not upload these saved values to a game server. Clearing your browser's site data deletes this progress. You can also use Settings → Reset local progress in the game.

Live player count

When the live counter is enabled, the game stores a random browser identifier locally to avoid counting multiple tabs as separate players. Each tab also uses a temporary session identifier. While you play in a visible tab, these identifiers and an active/inactive signal are sent to our server about every 15 seconds. No scores, character choices or account details are sent. Presence records stop counting after 45 seconds without an update and are removed at the next cleanup, normally within another 15 seconds. They are kept only in server memory. Paused runs and background tabs are excluded. The browser identifier remains until you clear site data; if storage is blocked, tabs may count separately. Short-lived request-rate limits use IP addresses in server memory for up to about 75 seconds.

Optional advertising

The website supports Google AdSense advertising. When advertising is enabled, Google and other third-party vendors or ad networks may place and read cookies, use web beacons and process IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. Google's advertising cookies allow it and its partners to show ads based on visits to this website and other websites. When advertising is disabled, the game's AdSense integration does not load Google's advertising script.

Depending on your region and choices, advertising may be personalized. Where a consent message is shown, use that message and its privacy settings to manage your choices. Playing the game does not require clicking an advertisement.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond to support, privacy or rights requests. Email is handled through our email provider. Do not send passwords or sensitive personal information. You may ask us to delete correspondence that is no longer needed, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Browser controls and other websites

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and site storage. Deleting site storage also removes saved game progress. Links and advertisements can take you to other websites; their operators' privacy policies apply there.

Website delivery

Your browser sends technical information, including an IP address and browser details, when requesting website files. The hosting provider may process request logs to deliver and secure the website. The game itself does not include a separate analytics service.
